The Combat Wing was originally started with the creation of the Winged Foxes, as the main central body of aircraft within the Guild. From the day it was created, the Combat Wing of the Foxes has been lead by the current Captain, Royce "Lepper" Chavez with his squadron made entire from P-51's, "Angel Squadron".

Until recently, the combat wing has no form of squadron based organisation, other than that of Angel Squadron. Other than the selected few in Lepper's Squadron, the rest of the pilots within the Winged Foxes flew their own aircraft with their own emblems and logos. Unit the recent re-organisation of Flight Unit in April 2009, pilots have been able to act on their own orders. Most pilots still can now, though the majority only take orders from their Squadron leaders.

The majority of the WFAP Combat Wing's forces are spread amongst the two Airship Carriers; Burning Sky and Sapphire Ruby, with the rest either serving on the Aircraft Carrier "Raven" and the underground cave complex, home to the Foxes. (Although it has been known for pilots of base at Airbases bought up by Serenity Industries, such as Barton Aerodrome).

"Angel" Squadron
Being the original squadron of the Winged Foxes, the Angel Squadron is one of the most professional squadrons in the Foxes. Hand picked by Captain Lepper, this squadron is only open to those who are high above the rest and have proven themselves worthy to join this elite team.

In the past, the squadron has only use P-51 Mustangs, with the exception of Akamai Keiki back in 2006/7, who was given permission to pilot a white Supermarine Seafire.

"Blackbird" Squadron
Although Blackbird Squadron appears to be a new squadron, it consists entirely on previous members of the Sparrowhawk Squadron. Like the Sparrowhawks, the Blackbird Squadron to specialise in advanced night-fighter operations and have seen much action, most recently they were contracted to defend a Serenity Industries complex from a bomber attack of unknown origin.

Blackbird Squadron are a uniquely equipped squadron with the latest in radar tracking and communication equipment, enabling them to perform exceptionally well during night-time operations. All the aircraft of this squadron were produced by the Serenity Industries Aircraft Plant in Aekea, home of the Wagner and Fistle engineering complex.

"Sabre" Squadron
Sabre Squadron remains the Winged Foxes on Ground Attack focused Squadron in the Combat Wing. Like their counterparts in the Naval Wing, they are primarily used in the destruction of ground based targets; mainly armour and airfields. Though they are ground attack based, they can easily switch targets to enemy aircraft and successfully score plentiful skills, though the lack of training for dogfighting can cause problems.

"Griffin" Squadron
Griffin Squadron is the newest air unit for the Combat Wing, comprising of mainly high speed and manouver aircraft, this squadron is focused in Interception rolls, particularly of high-speed jet propeller aircraft and similar long range weapons (such as the V1 Rocket).
